ControlDrill vs ScenX
ScenX is an AI tabletop platform with a virtual facilitator, adaptive injects, and framework mapping. ControlDrill is a self-serve live exercise that cites your plan, records attributed decisions under a timer, and hands back evidence without pretending to grade your controls.
$299 flat. Self-serve. No sales call.
The honesty line
Other tools grade your controls. We cannot grade your controls, and neither can they in a way your auditor must accept. ControlDrill gives you attributed evidence of what your team actually did and leaves the verdict to the auditor. We deliberately do not emit Tested, Partial, Untested, pass, fail, or a coverage percentage.

- $299 flat checkout. Self-serve. No sales call
Who should pick which
If you want a broad exercise platform with chat integrations and coverage scoring, evaluate ScenX on its own merits. If you need a tabletop this week with a plan-grounded room and an honest evidence packet at a fixed price, buy ControlDrill.
What we never claim
- We do not certify compliance or guarantee an audit outcome.
- A tabletop does not replace a live failover or backup-restoration test.
- We do not print a control grade from a discussion exercise.
